What’s your favorite Cathe Step WO?

I’m getting back into Cathe Step after a little hiatus to do other things. I love choreographed Step because it feels like dancing. I have most of her older DVDs, no VHS tapes.

So please share your favorites with me. Full wos or premixes and if you don’t mind order them most to least favorite if you share more than one and share why the favorite is your favorite.

Your responses will help me to decide which step video to add to my order when I order her new step bundle. They’ll probably also motivate me to pull out a few that have been languishing on the shelf. I figure there may be others out there deciding the same thing.

I’m not interested in anyone but Cathe at this point.

One of my all time favorites is Step, Jump and Pump.
Did a rotations of her Push/Pull and this step for cardio.
Very tough, but so much fun!

But then Cathe has so many great step workouts!

I'm not the best person to answer since I'm working on acquiring/learning a lot of Cathe's workouts put out since her Body Blast series from eons ago. But I will say I LOVE Step Blast. It always puts a huge smile on my face. Rhythmic Step is so much fun too but to me, it's not as intense cardio-wise as Step Blast (I only did it on a 6-inch step most recently so that may be why). But it is sooooo much fun.

I love all of Cathe's step routines that I've done (Imaxes, etc) but I'm only considering the highly, highly choreographed ones per your post. I do own her Party Rockin' Step DVDs but I haven't yet learned them so I don't feel qualified to comment. Hopefully others will have more insight!

I Cathe's step workouts, but my top five favorites are (in order):

Rhythmic Step (fun, dancy and I the Challenge where all three combos are spliced together...only con is that the music is a little repetitive)

Step Blast (the music absolutely rocks, and the DVD also includes Step Jump and Pump which is an awesome circuit workout...there are even premixes that use both workouts)

Step Works (from the Cardio Hits DVD; this also Step Fit and Power Max, which are also very good...all three workouts are from the mid to late 90s)

Cardio & Weights (I call this one a "Party on DVD". It's a cardio and weight circuit, with very fun step combos alternated with challenging upper body weight work...great music too)

Party Rockin' Step 1 (a little hard to master but fun once you get it...my only con is the fake lyrics within the music)

Thank you both so much! Kittybug you are definitely one of the best people to answer and I very much appreciate your opinion. Thanks for the list Garrie! Your comments are very helpful. Cardio and weights is one of my favorites too!

To anyone who wishes to share please know I’m happy to hear about any and all Cathe step wos even the less choreographed ones.

I'm kind of a choreo-klutz and it takes me MANY times to get a step workout but once I have it down, I can come back to it! Usually....lol.

My favorites in order:
1) Step, Jump, Pump - step only premix (which is about 1/2 hour)
2) Cardio & Weights - step premix
3) 4 Day Split - Lower Intensity Step
4) Low Impact Circuit - Step only premix (which has an extra combo added)
5) Low Max - Step only premix
6) Low Impact Step - Intermediate

Body Max 2 (My favorite because of the music)
Low Impact Circuit
Cardio and Weights
IMax 2
Basic Step and Body Fusion (Mostly I like these two because I don't have to modify anything)

Hmmm, I have lots of Cathe favorites so it’s hard to put in order but I would say,

#1 - Definitely Party Rockin Step #1

The others are to harder to put in an order of favorite but my next favorites are probably:

4DS High Intensity Step
Intensity Series Cardio & Weight (step only premix)
Body Blast Step, Jump & Pump (step only premix)
Body Max 2 (step combos)
Low Max (Step combos only premix)
Low Impact Circuit (step only premix) (sash series)
