Very sad. I never watched Star Trek, but know he will be missed by so many. His Spock character is iconic, even if you were not Trekkie.

Good-bye Mr. Nimoy
I will miss him but he did live a good life. I especially liked that when he developed an interest in photography that he photographed women of different sizes. He felt that all women were beautiful no matter their size.

We've been re-watching the original series on DVD, and today we viewed the final episode. A fitting tribute to Mr. (Spock) Nimoy! RIP and LLAP!

I also originally watched Star Trek as first run shows in the 60s. Fortunately, Nimoy seemed to come to grips with being Spock later in his life. Few actors have been so identified with one character. It did sort of force him to branch out into other art forms.
