I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets really feed our souls and are such wonderful loving companions. I hope you find some comfort in knowing you gave yours a great life. Big hugs to you.

Thanks everyone.

We spent time last night scrolling through her pictures. So many great memories. She was such a cute, loving goofball. Still expecting to see her on her spot on her pillow or hear her bark for attention. No matter when you loose them, there is no way to really prepare for their painful absence.

I don't think we can get another dog. Who knows though. Maybe after we heal and are in a better place financially. We still have two wonderful cats though, so we will pour that extra love into them.

Thanks for all the kind words and compassion. I certainly know we are not alone and appreciate y'all sharing here. My heart goes out to those of you who too have had such loses.
