New BJ Gaddour/Men's Health workout

I just received an email with information about a new 2 dvd set from BJ Gaddour & Men's Health. It looks to be related to the book 'The Better Man Project'.

Get Back In Shape DVD

In a nutshell you get 6 30-minute workouts, 3 strength, 3 cardio plus a bonus workout. The cost is $29.99 plus $7.99 shipping if you preview. If you enter in credit card information the shipping gets waived. My total with sales tax was just $32.

Yes, I ordered. I love all things BJ Gaddour !

Did you try the customer25 code to see if it worked?

Hi Karen!
Unfortunately, the item isn't in the Rodale Store yet so you can't use any coupons

Ah. . Too bad. I'll probably wait and try them through Kineticflix. Thanks!

I received it this past Saturday. I'm finishing up my current rotation on Sunday and plan to incorporate these workouts in my next 6 week rotation.I'll try to post my thoughts and submit formal reviews.

I liked that the rolling box squats he showed were a modification of full rolling squats. Wonder if he does that on other moves?

I don't have his new set yet, but I can say that in my experience BJ Gaddour is hands down the best instructor for showing how to scale an exercise to your level. He is very thorough with variations that down-modify and up-modify his exercises.

I think this is a weakness of most DVD instructors. Being able to scale the exercise to your level is one of the best ways to get fit faster. It is a pet peeve of mine. Like when I see female instructors doing really pathetic push-ups on their toes, because I think they're doing a disservice to themselves as well as their customers. Do the darn push-ups with your hands elevated on a bench so your form is great, and your customers see what a great option that is for them too.

Sorry, for the rant.
