Hmm, that's weird. Charley Pride passed away last year. I wonder if that article was the one year anniversary?

Musician Billy Hinsche died a couple weeks ago at the age of 70. He may be best known as Billy from Dino, Desi & Billy, a trio he created with Dino Martin and Desi Arnaz, Jr. I remember liking them mostly because they were “cute”. 😁 His mom passed away on the same day. RIP

I saw Bob Dole on late night television doing an interview after his lost in the presidential election. He showed his wicked sense of humor. He was telling jokes and I was crying from laughing so hard.

His last public appearance I understand was at President Bush's funeral. He rose and stood with help to pay his respects and salute.

He championed the American with Disability Act into law.

Rest easy and be at peace soldier, public servant, father and husband.

I loved his sense of humor and remember many times when I burst out laughing at a comment he made. At the same time, he was a soldier and statesman and leader.

Michael Nesmith has passed away. Sigh..so freaking sad for his family and Micky.

My husband saw a bunch of his solo shows and met him a bunch of times. He was extremely nice and funny. Sigh....

Davy Jones was always my favorite (and I even met him!), and I was so sad when he died so young...it's hard to believe that only 1 of my beloved Monkees is left now.

Frank met Davy at a book signing at Middlesex Mall in NJ in the 1980s.
