Am I the only one here who actually loves and only wears low rise pants? Not "crack low" but definitely lower than belly button.

Well, I think it depends on your definition of low rise. I wear them below my belly button, but don't consider them low rise. I consider them mid rise. It's "crack low" that I think everyone is talking about. Uncomfortable AND unflattering!

I don't have any problem finding pants that I consider to be low rise, meaning they sit below the waist, but are not butt crack pants. Strange!!

I think of low rise as showing crack. But I *do* have a problem finding ones that aren't that low. (Or maybe it's just because my butt is huge, IDK. )

"Why are all pants 'low rise'..?" Because that way,no matter how lean you are you will have a "muffin top" and feel compelled to go buy Spanx LOL Spanx must be the hidden power behind the trend... I wear what is probably considered mid-rise I bet:below belly button, but no rear view revealage when bending over

I prefer to wear my pants maybe an inch or two below my belly button. This fit is more flattering on my body type than pants at the waist---it de-emphasizes my thunder thighs! I think technically that is low rise but I don't show butt crack.

Those banded bottom tops are a throwback to the 70s. Guys even wore them!

If you're short...really short then the low rises aren't a problem. Mine sit at my belly button. I have never had a waist BTW. And I have to hem up even "short" or petite pants.

Mid rise. I find pants that fit at your waistline very constricting. There are lots of mid rise choices available. Get someone in the store to help you.

Don't live with it. Wear what feels good to you.
Totally agree!

I prefer that too - in my case simply because my waist is about a size larger than my hips. I hate pants that are baggy in the hips. I would have more of a muffin top with pants that fit at the waist.
