I was traveling and adjusting to life in an RV since the beginning of January.
I managed to stay regular with workouts, but had to change from heavier weights to more endurance-based workouts.
Cathe Live strength and kickboxing workouts were my go to, as well as the Cathe PHA workouts. I managed to maintain at least 4 workouts a week, and started Caroline Girvans’ Unleashed program when I got back home.
Hoping I enjoy Unleashed—Caroline’s weight selections have jumped up a bunch in this series, and I’m going to have to go to a gym for glute days. That is a change that I’d rather not have to make, but I don’t want to buy more equipment right now.
Tracy-so sorry for your loss!
Alta-That was a lovely post for Laura S.
Laura-Maybe just start walking outside for your exercise-listen to a fun book tape only when you are walking to get moving and enjoy something at the same time?
Some encouragement for everyone struggling. My sister got out of her exercise habit about 15 years ago. I think she may have gained at least 100 lbs. She developed some health issues as a result. Last June she started walking 30 minutes everyday and decided to cut out obviously processed food. She is not a health or workout nut by any means. She has lost 58 lbs so far and feels great. She has built up to walking for about 45 minutes daily and does a long walk of 75 minutes on the weekend.
Small changes add up over time for sure!
Here’s to a strong rest of the year for everyone!
