Just read a cute, very quick read: One Sip at a Time, a memoir about husband/wife ex-pats living abroad in France. It's written in an anecdotal style.

I'm still reading NOS4A2; I'm about halfway through and enjoying it.

I am reading Emile Zolas The Paradise along with The Girl in the Garden by
Kamala Nair. Also reading Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton. Front cover the transformative power of the goddesses of yoga......Lakshmi, Durga, Kali, saraswati etc. Could use a little transformative feminine right power right now. LOL!

I haven't read or even listened to a whole lot the last couple months.

I did read an advanced copy of Taming the Monkey Mind- which is a book on cognitive behavior therapy, but more in layman's terms. I felt it missed the how to actually apply it part, but all in all, I recommend it. Comes out in March. If you want self help based by real therapists - I recommend the publisher New Harbinger- they also have straight up therapy books and put out "the book" on dialectical behavior therapy- if you have a self harming child or friend- this is the current go to therapy.

Also quickly read an advanced copy The Impossible Fortress Jason Rekulak. A pretty decent young adult novel, based in the apple/microsoft startup era. It was good, but the ending was way too cliche.

I need to read something in the next week or so, for my bookclub (everyone talks about whatever book they want). Not doing well in the attention department. It can be anything I might want to recommend (or not.)

This sounds interesting! I might have to add to my to-read list.
