Well this thread enabled me to buy Metashred Extreme. I have done a 2 week rotation and I'm really glad I bought it! I think I'm going to do some miscellaneous workouts this week and then do another 2 week rotation.
Actually today is a rest day b/c my calves are screaming at me! I don't think I've ever had calf DOMS this bad before.
I did Disk 4 LB with the finisher of calf raises on Thursday, took Friday off, and then did the Disk 4 UB yesterday. I think perhaps the burpees at the end of that workout got into my recovering calves and left major DOMS. I was shocked yesterday about 3 hours after my UB workout when I starting having difficulty walking after sitting for a bit. I was not expecting leg DOMS after an UB workout. It feels like I'm gonna be feelin' it all day today. It wasn't b/c I didn't stretch afterwards as I add a Cathe stretch after all the workouts.
I do hope I can get better at putting the restriction bands on the arms. I get frustrated with that, but it's a unique feeling for sure.
I'd be interested to see some more ideas on rotations if anyone has them. I did the 2 week rotation as written, using a core, stretch or massage disk on Wednesday and doing the other workouts on M, Tu, Th, and Fri while usually taking the weekends off. I don't feel the need to do more than that. I do the warmups, workout, and finishers with a Cathe stretch so they are plenty long enough.
Now I'm interested in the regular Metashred workouts.
