America's Test Kitchen shows on DVD - question

Our library carries these DVDs, but i just want to see the written recipe. i wanted to borrow season 10, but i don't necessarily want to watch the show if i have to write down the recipe, kwim?

so those of you who are familiar with the DVD versions of the shows, are the recipes written anywhere, like in the insert or in one of ATK's books? even better, are they online somewhere?

our library also carries cookbooks that feature the "best of" recipes from the shows, but not sure if it has all of the recipes that they feature on the shows. i requested the 2018 "cook's country" TV cookbook to take a look.

I'm curious as well.The only place I've seen all the recipes are on the website, and i think you have to pay to subscribe to view most recipes. Sometimes you can google a specific recipe and someone will have posted it somewhere.

I've bought several of ATK cookbooks and have found what I was looking for, but have never compared it to the show to make sure all of the recipes were included. If you get the Cooks Country book, I don't think it will include the ATK recipes from 2018. ( I could be wrong.)

I signed up for a trial membership just to be able to find a couple of recipes I wanted. Then recently, I decided to go ahead & pay for the membership because DH & I are big fans & ATK has a lot of good resources.

If you tell me what recipes you want, I could go on the site & copy them for you.

Dorothy, you're a doll. the ones i'm interested in are from season 10, and i have no idea if they represent the actual ones on the show, however, i can always just try and see. i especially like their tips that go along with the recipe. i'll PM you my email.

bzar, when I searched the ATK site for "grilled salmon fillets," I found a BUNCH of different recipes. I was able to find a list of episodes, went to one in 2010 that included salmon fillets (one recipe for grilled in the oven & one for grilling outside). Let me know which one you want (or both) & I'll email it to you when I hear from you.
