My workout Friday was a hour-long walk in the morning + STS Cardio MMA Fusion. Saturday's workout was STS Cardio Circuit Blast.

Karjoy - I was happy too that Cillian Murphy won best actor. I thought he did a fantastic job. Robert Downey Jr. was very good too. I hated his character in the movie so his acting was on point.

Today is the last day for us in the 70s. We should be back to the upper 50s next week, thank goodness.

Have a great Sunday, everyone.

My workout yesterday was ICE Low Impact Sweat workouts 1 &2 + blizzard blast.

I feel that this checkin has really been neglected lately. Should we all just call it a day??

I meant to post yesterday and got waylaid with chores. Yesterday 4 of us walked/ran 6.2 miles, a nice 10k. We went to a county greenway about 10 minutes away and it was just beautiful. Fairly cool too. Got some hills in. There were all kinds of people there—mountain and gravel bikers, hikers, runners, walkers. So nice! Today I walked about 30 minutes and did some sprints.

Jbliff I thought Robert Downey Jr was fantastic, enough to make me hate him for a while. We are going to have a few days of cooler weather too.

Yes, I agree with Jblif: Where is everyone? Should we check in with a different group on VF?

No, no, no. Sorry, just haven’t had time to check in and I’m still trying to get my mojo back. Busy, next week I’m on vacation but there is a strong possibility that I may have jury duty too. Boo!

You and karjoy have kept this checkin going so let me know what you all would like to do. ❤️

I'm sorry I don't post more regularly! Time just slips away from me. If you did decide to combine with another check in, I think the Friends in Fitness one could be a good match. Or the Every Day in __. I'm already part of both of those too. Why I have so many check ins when I can't keep up with one I'll never know!

Ugh, I can't believe how time just disappears! It's been even longer than I thought since I posted last. I find myself composing posts in my head when we walk and then just never actually typing them up. :forehead slap:

It's really been a good month so far. We played D&D on the 10th, I spent several hours over lunch with an old friend on the 11th, spent the whole day at the Mall of America with a different friend this past Saturday. My steps counts got pretty high the end of last week and I think it triggered my RLS as my legs were so bad for a few nights. I decided to take it easier on Sunday and celebrated St. Paddy's Day cooking and enjoying yummy food, reading, and playing games on my phone, just chilling out with hubby and Cyric. Evidently it's what I needed bc my legs have calmed down and I woke up yesterday ready to take on the day!

Apparently now that spring is here on the calendar, winter has decided to show up in reality. We've had snow flurries and cooler temps recently, along with wind. Last week when I ran on Wednesday it was 67 degrees at 2 PM and then Friday it was 50 at 2:30 PM and more windy. It felt cooler than 50. I think today is supposed to be the warmest day this week with a high of 54. I don't mind the cooler temps at all, I just don't like the wind. I've decided 30s-50s is my ideal running temps.

Three of us went to Planet Fitness tonight for 45 minutes walk/run on the mill. Gosh time goes fast when you’re with friends! Much more fun.

I would much prefer to keep our own check in going but will defer to the needs and wants of everyone. And you know, there’s nothing wrong with drive by checkins maybe as often as you reasonably can and maybe a longer checkin every week or 2.

My workout yesterday was Xtrain Cardio Leg Blast. Monday's workout was a walk with DH + Perfect 30 Upper Body (including the bonus segments) and the extended stretch.

Overall I would prefer to stay in our own checkin. I was just wondering if other people in the checkin were interested in keeping it going and it looks like we all are, so I'm OK with continuing with it, and we all check in when we can.

T2B - I'm so sorry you are still missing your mojo. Jury duty won't help either

Karjoy - I saw a great movie last night that I thought you and others might like. It's called The Holdovers with Paul Giammati. He was nominated for an Oscar and I felt that the supporting young actor Dominic Sessa should have been nominated as well.

Vannie - Glad your leg is doing better.

Waves to all. Have a great day.

Hi All,

My workouts:

11 - 15. rest days….

16. BODY BEAST: Build Legs & Build Shoulders (Giant Sets) + CIZE: HYO. I haven’t done a Body Beast rotation since 2017. Hard to believe.
17. CIZE: HYO x2 + FIT|SPLIT: Push Day (skipped shoulders) + CIZE: HYO
18. CIZE: HYO
19. JAZZERCISE: Dancin’ Abs
20. BOSS BANDS: Total Body. Nice to revisit after 2 years? I’ll use my Cathe tubing the next time I do this workout. The bands could use more tension, and my blue band is too short.

JB - I’m glad Godzilla Minus One won an Oscar for FX, it’s even more impressive considering the $15 million budget for the whole film. The movie doesn’t have a Blu ray release date yet. I read that it probably won’t be available on blu-ray until the end of 2024. Lol at the jury duty comment. The Holdovers is on my watch list, so is Anatomy of a Fall & Pretty Things.

I won’t say that I disliked Oppenheimer but I didn’t think it was all that either. I mostly love Christoper Nolan’s movies. Great acting. I still plan to finish watching the movie. Maybe I’ll change my mind by the end of the movie.

karjoy - I’m glad your favorite film won many Oscars. I’ll try to be better at checking in, I can at least do drive-by’s.

I’m really enjoying the Shogun series and Vannie, I’m digging the Rick & Michonne show.

My workout yesterday was 35 minutes on the elliptical. I had to send my Fitbit back for a replacement as it was acting up. I got addicted to checking to see my steps and zone minutes that without it I feel totally lost!

T2B - If you didn't like the sex scenes in Oppenheimer you probably won't like Poor Things either. I read that it has numerous pretty graphic scenes in the movie. DH read the book and told me there is nothing graphic in it, so I guess the scriptwriter and director decided to spice it up.

Hi to everyone. Have a great day.
