Ot:mealthy air fryer for Instant Pot

I have not bought an air fryer because I am not sure how much I would use one, and I do not need any more kitchen gadgets taking up space.

I saw online there is an air fryer that is for use in top of pressure cookers . It looks kind of interesting:

Opinions please on air fryers and has anyone tried this one?

Thanks!

Sherry I don't have the air fryer you mentioned, but I do have one and use it a lot! I "fry" in it and I also bake in it. Our oven went out a couple of months ago and we have only missed it once or twice. We just use our air fryer or new wave oven. We will get the oven fixed this winter. I really like the air fryer.

I am interested in this too, do not need a large airfryer in my kitchen. I have it in my cart on Amazon to check if it goes on sale during prime deal days.
I have an instant pot 6qt that it will fit.
Chef AJ has a review on youtube and if you use the code chefaj you get $5 off on their website.

Thank you both!

I cook a lot from scratch. It seems like mostly processed foods are used in the air fryer. Is that correct?

I plan on using it for roasting vegetables and potatoes. Like homemade fries. You can also toast sandwiches. We do not eat meat so do not know how that works.

Thanks, Tricia! I would use it for vegetables, but this one looks like there is not much space so the batches would be small. I wonder if it would work well for veggie burgers.

I have an air fryer, and I cook from scratch. I've used it for vegetables and for meat. I especially love chicken breasts air-fried. I am currently looking for air fry recipes for ground turkey/beef.

I don't know if I'm brave enough to bake in an air fryer but would love to hear stories about that.

Thanks, Demeris!

The author of the Skinnytaste blog released an air fryer cookbook. That may have recipes you are looking for. I think the recipe index is on Amazon or her site.

Thanks for sharing Sherry! I’m interested and I’d definitely use it to cook from scratch....chicken, potatoes, veggies. I’m not into processed foods.
