What's the most well-rounded workout/system?

I'm struggling to fit all my main goals in: balance, core, flexibility, strength (all in approx. 40 min!).

I keep thinking, if I could just mash them all into a single well-rounded workout (or even system). Then THAT got me thinking: I wonder what everyone would consider the most well-rounded workout or system.

What's your vote? What bases do you want covered in a workout to consider it well-rounded? (And has this changes over time?)

For me, it is this...

Or for a bit easier, but equally well-rounded...

Yep, Jessica Smith makes sure to have all those elements in her programs. Most programs are good but skimp on cardio or flexibility. Jessica Smith usually includes a little of each in under 45 minutes. Maybe Cathe's Low Impact Series? I am not sure if the workouts are under 40 minutes though. You may be able to squeeze in some premixes that are.

Well, I'm not actually looking for recs for me (though I may take some notes, haha). I'm wondering what YOU feel is the ideal system or workout. What covers YOUR bases, even if they're 70 min long!

I don’t have walk strong 3 but you are describing perfectly the walk strong 1 and 2 sets.

When I want strength/balance/flexibility/foam rolling/core work and just enough cardio, I really like P90X2. Tony did such a great job on this program and I consider it to be an unsung gem. It truly is a well-rounded, fun program

Oh I see, thanks! Hmmm...I would still pick Jessica's Walk Strong series and Cathe's Low Impact Series. I really like Cathe's Xtrain set too, but it doesn't have separate yoga or flexibility routines.
