Question about Cize workout called Crazy 8s

Hi, everyone. I bought my daughter the Beachbody Cize workout set when Beachbody had their summer sale. She did the starter workout today, called Carzy 8s, and commented that Shawn T did one move where you use your one leg as the standing leg and kick with the right while you bounce, but he never goes to the right leg as the standing leg. She said the schedule has you doing this workout 3 times in a row, and she was just going to switch the working leg on her own.

Did anyone who has this set notice this imbalance in the workout?

I hope this makes sense!

Thank you for any responses.

Yes, he only does that move on one leg. He doesn't seem concerned overall with balancing sides.

Does he do that in other workouts in Cise as well?

Overall, I'd say the whole set is more about dancing than muscular balance. That one sequence in Crazy 8s stands out though - it's hard and you think it's never going to end! He doesn't balance sides, but overall it didn't make a big difference, IMO.

I know what move you're talking about! It is a killer and as the workout progressed I started to wonder what's up with the other leg?! I now change legs on my own (right/left within the workout) every time I do it. I agree with gmfreund in that this set is more about dancing than exercising, but that particular move fries my leg every time that it is just impossible to ignore. I haven't notice any other move like this (that bugged me) in the other workouts I've tried.

Glad to know I'm not the only person who thought that move was tough!

Thanks, everyone, for all your responses. My daughter feels much better about this now. She's used to Ellen Barrett, who is meticulous about keeping sides even.

There is another Cize video where he does this move. I wonder if he does it on the other side on that one.

Yes - that move is not easy! I just alternate legs every time that move comes around.
