Anyway, I came here to post that the customer service at worlddancenewyork.com is top notch. I've dealt with Scott in the past (if you have questions, issues, need help, or need suggestions, etc... you can e-mail him directly at scott@worlddancenewyork.com ) & he just e-mailed me to let me know, before I even found out once it got here, that there was a problem with my order. He wanted to let me know it has already been taken care of & they are shipping something out separately to me, so not to worry when I get the box & there's something wrong with it. He let me know AHEAD of time. Now THAT is AWESOME !

Okay, question for those of you who have some of these...
The Hard Candy, Luscious, Love Potion ones - are they really what they look like? Is it really a good workout that looks and feels like you're actually belly dancing? So many of the ones I've tried LOOK like belly dancing workouts and then are either too instructional and not enough of a workout, or too repetative and don't feel enough like dancing. I'm wondering if these are what I've been hoping for Sassy

They are good--no excellent bellydance flows. Whether or not you feel worked out is based on your fitness, dance skill, and personal expectations.
A bellydance workout for me is practicing our drum solos and other routines back-to-back. I Adore Luscious and Love Potion and use them as light days. |

Sassy--they ARE that good.
You may also try Shamira's Bellydance dvd II. It has 22 chapters showing you movements and mini combinations. It also has three mini choreographies. That was my favorite get to it and dance beginner bellydance dvd. I agree on Tanna's earlier efforts. Actually, I had issues with Neon's early stuff as well. I think WDNY *Listens" to its fan base, so their offerings improve. I hope that is true with the upcoming Tanna. |
