Horizontal Conditioning revisited

So I just got this big carpet for my basement so I can use my gliders finally comfortable. I decided to do HC 2 today, and man it kicked my ar*e. Now this is my new goal -- go thru this with ease. Haha. Are you guys still using these?

Yes! During Mary's sale I got Bootcamp, Body blast & Vol 4. I chose ones that had cardio in them. HOLY CRAP!! I arrogantly thought "I do Cathe....I got this". Its very deceiving because the instructor is laid back and sort of soft spoken. Good grief she kicked my butt! How many times I had to stop, breathe and modify. My upper body got slammed right out of the gate. I could barely lift my arms to wipe the sweat off. It was Def total body, challenging and awesome! I felt it for a few days. I also appreciate the cardio effect they have because I'm a cardio junkie and need that. So......yes! Loving the HC.

I have HC and the Dream Body series up there as my most dreaded workouts. Way too difficult.

These are the only workouts EVER that truly frighten me I did them way back and have never touched them since but do think about them!

I only do 10 to 15 minutes. That makes them almost doable That way I don't dread them and boy do I see results!

Buti has a new program out called HotCore that reminds me a little of Horizontal Conditioning, but it has more of a fun factor. I just thought I'd mention it for anyone that loves the concept of Horizontal Conditioning, but misses the fun factor

ETA - Right now it is only classes, but she's working on a dvd and should have it out soon if I'm recalling correctly.

This is a great idea.

I do a lot of shorter workouts these days, and I notice I actually have the mind-energy to do more and to work out for a longer time overall when I mix up several different sessions of workouts, even if they are hitting pretty much the same areas. And I have more "results" also.

I can definitely psych myself up to do these for 15 minutes.

I dread them too. I only do it once in awhile. They are so tough but I can really tell that I'm working my core.
