Working the Lower Body Without Squats & Lunges

I had varicose veins removed from my left leg and haven't worked out in over 3 weeks, except for some walking. I am itching to get back into exercise and am looking for ways to do cardio or lower body without aggravating my left leg, since I had veins treated on the back of knee.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, TIA!

T-tapp:

Critter Crunch
Hit the Floor

Also, her Warm Up Workouts all feature a floor section

T-tapp as Demeris said. Teresa also had one called Diva Derriere that was also a killer for the legs - all lying down. I don't know if she sells a video of it anymore - but if you look on her site she has a paper workout.

And then the somewhat boring, but very effective Tonique Mat. I would forego the newer, snazzier, Energy Mat because despite its name she still manages to jump around.

How about some barre style moves where you extend the leg out but don't bend it. Of course you can also do this from the floor.

Almost any Margaret Richard has floor work, the main reason she is my favorite instructor.

I'd forgotten this. Yes, the two floor sections are great (as well as Teresa's adaptation to the barre!)
