Thanks for bumping this review because I totally missed it! I kept asking for reviews in the original thread:

http://forum.videofitness.com/showthread.php?t=156935

Anyway, do they keep repeating the exercises? For example, do they do Circuits 1, 2 and 3 three times each?

Posted this on my checkin - Ok me and my bright ideas! I did Combat Kettlebell Systems all the way through and there are 3 workouts on that dvd. First is 3 mins x 3 rounds (1 min rest between rounds), 2nd is 4 mins x 4 rounds (1 min rest between rounds) and 3rd is 5 mins x 5 rounds (1 min rest between rounds). It is as tough as Keith Weber's Extreme Kettlebell Cardio and maybe even AOS Newport. I would probably only do workout 1 and 2 together or workout 3 standalone or lower the weight I use to do it to do all 3 workouts. He does 2 kettlebell swings on the 3rd workout and I did 2 handed swings instead. There is a lot of rolling on your back from standing and getting up either on a knee (or both) or coming to both feet - 3rd workout you use your kettlebell almost through the whole thing! It has a lot of my favorite moves

I used 35lb for 2h swings
25lb for all the standing moves
20lb for the floor or up and down moves

Oh and it clocks in at 1 hour - no warmup or cooldown but you can add those on.

I didn't mention this on my post but I did love it. This will probably be in my rotation of workouts that I do on a regular basis. It is very unique and its been a few hours and I still feel worked over

Do any of the workouts not incorporate the rolling movement? I really really hate those...

All of the workouts have some rolling movements on the floor.

Answering my own question: I wrote to MMM asking if there were warm ups and/or cool downs on CKS and Shadow-Jitsu...he replied:

1. CKS: there is a Warm Up listed on the insert inside the DVD case. The warm up was also in the February 2011 Magazine DVD (you can see this if you get a digital subscription -you get all past workouts with a digitial subscription). He didn't say that this was a "video" warm up.

2) Shadow-Jitsu: There are two warm ups of ten minutes each included that will be combined with other workouts. The combination workouts are detailed on the DVD insert.

So, for CKS, I assume there is no footage of warm ups or cool downs/stretches and that the warm ups are on paper.

For Shadow-Jitsu, the breakdown http://forum.videofitness.com/showth...light=alvarado shows two 10-minute workouts...so, these are what Mark is referring to as "warm ups". And no cool down/stretching.

Please correct me if this is wrong!
