Tracie Long’s Reboot Vol 1
I just received Tracie Long’s new Reboot workout in the mail last night and tried it out this morning. I loved it; challenging, but fun, cardio segments, good weight work with some new twists, and nice stretching along the way. Before I started doing videos, I lifted weights using routines from books or magazines. I would often pause in between exercises for a little stretching; it just felt natural to me. So I enjoyed the way Tracie inserted some brief stretches in Reboot after a cardio and weight set. (An aside: KCM’s new dvd, Your Best Body has ab “rests” after weight sets that also give your back/core a nice stretch intermittently throughout the workout). I finished Reboot feeling great, not wiped out, but definitely worked out.
A good solid Intermediate workout with very good cueing. I had little trouble following along without previewing it. Yes, I am already curious to see what else Tracie has in line for the next in this series. I notice this is marked Vol. 1, so I hope there are more to come. At age 50+ my metabolism is sorely in need of rebooting!
