Question Are there any VFers who have *never* used a VHS workout?

You may have started working out in the DVD age.

If you've never used a VHS workout, please post here.

Lol.

I feel sorry for the youngsters who never had to fast forward or rewind through a CIA workout on VHS, which usually had two or more routines. Memories......

I thought the question was if anyone had VHS workouts that they have never used... That would be me. My collection of virgin workouts run as far back as the VHS era.

I'm 41 and I feel like I'm right on the coming-of-age technology cusp where I "grew up" when everything was changing from analog to digital, pagers to cell phones, cassettes to CDs and VHS to DVDs.

I started purchasing home workouts in my late teens, so the late 90s. I had the MTV "The Grind" workouts on VHS, and I think maybe the Daisy Fuentes endorsed Mari Winsor series on VHS, but I think everything else I've owned workout wise has been on DVD. I remember doing the original Tae Bo series, but I don't think I owned it, I think it belonged to a roommate.

I didn't really get into exercise videos til I got a dvd player.

From what I remember, VHS tapes were expensive, which is why video rental stores existed in the first place.

I did own the original Jane Fonda on vinyl, and actually wore it out. Got a VHS of another one of hers, but got super tired of too much whooping or some other annoying chitchat so I didn't use it much.

I've always been slow to adopt technology. Didn't have a VCR til I was in college, away from home, taking classes at night and wanting to watch Dynasty, LOL!! Didn't get a dvd player til the prices started coming down and it made sense to switch. Menus and chaptering had a lot to do with my preference for dvd.

I not only started with VHS back when it was the only thing available I think I had one of the very first exercise videotapes. It was a Nautilus rubber band workout with a very young Tamilee Webb. It came with a pink loop band. Eventually the band and the tape both wore out.
