Off-Topic The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead 2015/2016 !!! (Spoilers included)

I liked the premiere. I didn't expect it to start off with tons of action, but give us a back story that will build. Did anyone get a Johnny Depp vibe from the druggie son or is it just me?

I really enjoyed the premiere. I liked the build up but the problem is right when the action starts and I'm at the edge of my seat, it ends! So you know that all heck will break loose in the next show but now I have to wait a week.

I liked the characters and acting. The druggie son played his part very well and the settings...the church...the sense of dread!!! Those little details just suck you in.

I enjoyed the episode as well. It dragged some but at the end, I was talking to the tv a lot. The druggie son killed it with his acting.

Pcdoctor - I watched Talking Dead, they didn't really reveal anything new.

I finally watched the first episode last night. Like all of you, I thought the first ten minutes were great, but I didn't find the dysfunctional family at all interesting. I also didn't think Cliff Curtis and the female lead, Kim Dickens (the teacher couple), had any chemistry. The guy that was playing the son must have watched a 21 Jump Street marathon to prepare for his role.

One thing that kept occurring to me? The son went hour after hour without a bath, and all I could think was, he's really gonna regret that, very soon.

I'd have probably gone up with the nuke in Atlanta on TWD. They had showers. Priorities, right?

Ha ha! Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think you'd last long in the Zombie Apocalypse. (Remember Carol smearing herself with Zombie guts?)

I enjoyed FTWD. That young man playing the druggie is an excellent actor. If he makes it through another episode, I guess I'll have to learn his name.

The character, Nick Clark, is played by Frank Dillane, who made his film debut in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. He is the son of Stephen Dillane, who played Stannis Baratheon in Game of Thrones.
