9/25 -
Dog walk
Express Mile with JS
Day 13 w/ Pahla
15 Min. Stretch w/ Fabulous 50's
9/26 - no workout, we had the grandkids and walked around Longwood Gardens with them.
9/27 -
Dog walk, shorter version with grandkids.
Evolve 20 min Total Body from YouTube - this was okay, not sure I'll try another.
10 Min. Solution Pilates, Buns & Thighs (I liked this better than the last one).
9/28 -
Regular dog walk
1 mile with Leslie as a warm up
30 min. Walk & Run with Jess Sims (I really liked this. The segments were short enough that I could push myself.)
5 min. Post Run Stretch w/ Adrian
10 min. Foam Rolling w/ Hannah. I had to modify this slightly, it got painful!

This was the first time the grandkids have spent the night since Covid became a presence in our lives. I know my daughter & hubby needed the time alone! Plus, we had a great time with them!

Helen - sorry that everything seemed to go wrong as soon as hubby left! Just getting locked in the bathroom was bad enough, but a smoke detector going off indefinitely? I'm with Cleda, it would be history, unless I had a tall neighbor who was willing to help.
Pam - as soon as my Leslie subscription ends (I signed up for a year) I will be trying WOW! No talking and good sound tracks, how can you go wrong?
Waves to Cleda & Kay! Hope Kay is okay.

Oh Lili - those didn't all happen this time. They are things that have happened on separate occasions of him being away in the past.
The alarm does a single chirp, but every 43 seconds. At my computer, I can close the door and have something playing in headphones & I'm fine. Closed doors last night to sleep worked as well.

If you were willing to sign up for Leslie, you'll definitely LOVE the WOW I reckon! Yup - the no talking + good music is a solid winner.
Glad you're finally able to have little sleepers over.
Not so little? How old are they now? (I'm bracing myself to be shocked) - my girls just turned 23.

Helen - good to know that all of the disasters didn't happen at once! I'm glad you are able to block out the chirping smoke detector with headphones and while you sleep. That's a big help, but ultimately, still hugely annoying!

9/29 -
Dog Walk
Day 1 Beginner Level Epic program by Caroline Girvin. I read something about her rotation on GD and decided to try it. I have mixed feelings right now, will try a few more before I decide.
30 Min. Get Fit Fast from Fab 50's. Not a bad walking workout, very little talking, just some voiceovers when you changed moves. Her music was upbeat, but repeated too much.

I decided I couldn't take any more of Pahla B. I may still try her rebounding w/o, but no more rotations.

Tue., 29th Sep.
40min, Cathe - Interval Max - Intervals 1-5 Mix
Done very carefully, only 6" step, but DID the jumps - left (bad side) only JUST leaving the platform, but did them. Was very pleased.
also lots of weeding & a dog walk

Wed - next section of weeding, watch the debate - at the computer ready for it - live at 11am here (10:30 now), map out areas of house to clean to be done by Monday, as going to the farm on Tuesday.

I'm smiling about your Phala comment. I started listening to her podcast in the car on the way to work, but also didn't last - she takes too long to get to the point.

The chirping has become a running gag. Message just "chirp" on the family chat at intermittent times throughout the day.

9/28/2020: Row 2106m, Adrian's Bootcamp (30 minutes - treadmill & weights), 5 minute Barre Warm Up and 20 minute Barre class (they are offering a badge. You all don't think I'd really do a barre class on a Monday? for Fun!?! )

9/29/2020: Power Zone workout with Matt (60 minutes - tough workout. Zones 5, 4 & 3.And then back up.) Cool Down ride with Sam Yo, post ride stretch

That completed week 6 of the Power Zone challenge. Week 7 should post today, so I'm well on my way.

Today is last row session to meet my goal of 18 rows in September.

For those who made 30/30

Not me.
Today's the 1st, and my knee is SO much better.
Going to read me a Cleda post last thing before bed, & first thing each morning!
I'm still reeling at that 70lb THIS YEAR - that's 5 stone.
I'm blown away - as she will be in a stiff wind if she's not careful.

Must go - have a date with my buddy in 4 minutes!
Cathe - Imax 1 - Intervals 5-10 Mix
then Alice will need to a walk.

Happy Thursday.

Too kind ...

Helen: You are too kind ... It bounced up (a combination of "diet cocky" and scale was reading wrong.) Sent me into a tailspin, but I'm back at it! October will be my rebound (as in get back on track and rebound the weight back to where it should be - not a trampoline ha!) and by November and December? Will hit new territory. I won't be blowing away any time too soon. I promise you that. (I am not going to live with regrets. I still have a good 25-40 lbs. to go. I never should have let myself get as heavy as I did for as long as I was.) But like I said: NO REGRETS ... movin' on. These last 3 months are CRUCIAL for me in so many ways.

So if you're reading my posts both morning and night? I better make sure I keep posting!

9/30/2020: Low energy day (I have them !!!) I rowed: 1108 meters. And meditation. (made it through 2 minutes of 20 minutes. Some day I'll stay awake for all of it.) Not last night though.

So my month's tally:
Rowing 18/18 -- I DID IT!!!
(October will focus on distance)
274/366 for workout days
I'm rockin' it.

Make it a great day.
See you all in the October thread where I continue with Power zone challenge, rowing the English channel (here's your funny for the day - first pin? I put in the actual town, so my first few kilometers? I'm rowing across land! ) but hey? Who cares? I'm an experiment of one and honestly? I'm only on a rower anyway. I never really hit the water. I just have a great imagination and a few pins along the way of my virtual crossing. hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Waves to all!
