Restarters and Strugglers, November - All Welcome to Join!

Starting us off for a new month! All Welcome......restarting, just starting or struggling to get your workouts in.....join us!

Sorry I was missing a few days. I went up to my parents cabin to help them close it up for the summer.

Thursday’s workout was Perfect Pump Upper. Dang she packs a lot into 30 minutes. I did need a little more time between exercises to figure out what weights to grab.

Friday morning drove to the cabin. to help my parents close up the cabin. No official workouts but Friday my mom and I raked leaves for 3 hours and lugged 14 tarps full of leaves into the woods. Thank goodness my dad was riding the riding lawn mower around the whole time and doing the leaves that way too or we would have never gotten done.

Where is everyone?

Workout yesterday was Perfect Pump Lower Body + LB Bonus + Extended Stretch. Started a WW 30 Day Plank Challenge so did Day 1 also.

Cher ~ Thanks for starting the monthly thread. Perhaps the others haven't found it yet. I strated to post yesterday but got distracted with life.

My workout yesterday was Petra Kolber's The Last Step, still working on the first workout to try to learn it. I followed that up with Karen Voight's Burn & Firm doing the upper body segment twice. Later in the day I worked in some of my PT exercises.

The weather was spring-like, so DH and I did some garden clean up which is a workout itself.

I'm thinking of keeping my workouts in list format and updating this post during the week.


November 2-8
  • Monday ~ Petra Kolber, The Last Step (#1); Karen Voight Burn & Firm (upper body 2x); PT exercises; garden cleanup
  • Tuesday ~
  • Wednesday ~ Tom Holland Total Body Workout
  • Thursday ~ PT
  • Friday ~ Petra Kolber, Dance Step, plus PT
  • Saturday ~ Jessica Smith YT Cardio Strength (15 min); PT; a little of JS Belly Buns & Thighs Walk just to see how it was
  • Sunday ~

Workout today started as Perfect Pump Low Impact Hiit. Only lasted until about the 17 minute mark and decided enough of that. I still hate doing drills and I missed the timer telling me how much time was left for each drill. Also did WW Plank Challenge Day 2.

Feeling a bit nervous this morning since my sister has the appointment with the surgeon so waiting to hear from her about that.

Sorry I've been missing for so long. I started a new hobby, and became obsessed with it.

I've been walking on the treadmill, and doing a bit of yard work, and that's been it fitnesswise.

glavtx ~ We've been doing garden clean up here, too. What is your new hobby?

We're having computer issues, so my appearance here might be sketchy.

This week I've used Tom Holland's Total Body and Cathe's Low Impact Circuit (with modifications). It's such a long one for me!

  • Sunday ~ Petra Kolber The Last Step (Workout 1 [still not quite gettig it] and Cool Down); Windsor Pilates; PT exercises; 1.25 mile neighborhood walk

Hi DJ, I just sort of quit checking in because everyone disappeared.

Workouts this week have been few and far between. We are dog sitting my SIL’s puppy and she cries every time I go to the basement to exercise.
