Thank you so much for all the support. I appreciate it so much. The house feels so empty without him. For a small cat, he was a huge presence in our home, always giving love and doing things that made us laugh.
I can't tell how our other two cats are doing. I don't think they sense yet that he is gone, but Mila (tuxedo cat in my avatar) reached her paw through the carrier to touch Bonkers and then sat on top of it to try and keep us from taking him to the vet on Wednesday. She has been more affectionate with us since. Our older cat Huck seems the same, but when our cat Brennan passed in 2014, he sat in the corner of our bedroom facing the wall for two weeks afterwards. We are giving both of them extra attention. Oddly, our cat Mila was waiting for me outside the bedroom door yesterday after I did yoga. Bonkers always did that.

I am so sorry to read this....Bonkers sounded like such a sweet little thing! My SIL/BIL also lost their kitty a couple months ago...ironically, he was all black and just the sweetest. He always looked forward to seeing me once a week with treats in hand! I miss him.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Sherry. I'm sure you miss him very much.
It's interesting that Mila is doing some of the things that Bonkers used to do. That happened to us when we lost our last little girl. Our boy Tank (my avatar) now eats breakfast with us---meaning he sits at the opposite end of the table and just watches us. He never did that before. It seemed that somehow he knew that we needed it and was trying to comfort us. Cats are truly amazing creatures. We are lucky to have them in our lives, for however long we are blessed. Take care.

Sherry, I was so sorry to hear the news. I know from personal experience how difficult and emotional losing a pet is. Thinking and praying for you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. Our pets are in our lives for a short time but their pawprints are left in our heart and memories. May your memories and his love comfort you in your time of grief and sorrow.
