Kettlebells

Some Firm workouts (my go-to for a long time when I needed to get some "juice in my caboose"). The lower-body Transfirmer workout is a good one.

Swings are one KB move you can try out with a dumbbell, so no need to buy a KB just to try them out.

I second what Kath is saying about weight. I didn't really feel the swings until I started doing (as an add-on) tabata protocol (4 min.) swings with 36-40 lb KB. I actually get butt-cramps occasionally while doing this - I didn't know that was possible!

As to the others with pre-exisiting J-Lo butts (I'm envious!) - physically I am the opposite. I was genetically predisposed to pancake butt - but now it's round! So no help in predicting what might happen there... (although someone has as their sig line a quote by Gin Miller - 'If you're going to have a big butt, make it a GREAT big butt' - it seems that would apply to your situation).

Nothing lifted & rounded my glutes like BBL! Then finding Tonique. I do have to give the most credit to BBL. After doing barre forever I stalled as far as results were going. I did BBl exclusively & was amazed. I think the fact your not building up the quads is key, then the Triangle Training is another bonus.

Here is a collection of exercises that will give you the best booty

For a program to use the exercises in, visit:

These workouts can be done with bodyweight only, but they are more effective if you add resistance. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Totally anecdotal but when I take live Core Fusion classes all of the instructors have nice, high butts as do regulars. CF Glutes & Thighs has my butt sore for days!

Kettlebells! I don't look at my own glutes very much, but since DH and I have been taking kettlebell classes together, I've noticed his bum has gone from a slightly saggy middle-age version to his former youthful bum. I certainly appreciate the view!

Yes, those are awesome! Marta does those in the Montenegro Method DVDs I have, and they are in some of my kettlebell workouts. Love 'em.
