Oh no! I hope the flip flops aren't causing problems. Time will tell I guess.
I tried a different pair of Tides yesterday and they hit the bone where the 5th metatarsal connects to the foot. I sprained that area 3 years in a row. I think all flip flops hit that area. Maybe they're tighter than others. I didn't know it was painful until I tried those Tides.

Holy cow, we've created a monster... I just bought TWO MORE PAIRS of flip-flops!
I stopped in at DSW just in case (y'all know how that goes! LOL), where, btw, they have FitFlops for $60 and under. But they also had these *adorable* sandals from White Mountain (I got the floral), which is a brand I know fits me well, and which were only $30! They were too cute not to buy, and I was actually sorry to put my own shoes on to go home--a good sign of comfort, I think! And these from Clarks, which were, hands down, the single most comfy pair of flipflops I've tried on. End of. Flip-flops, where have you been all my life?? Seriously, I am SO not used to having this many comfortable and attractive footwear options! Usually there's one thing that sorta doesn't hurt so much. I am over the moon about this.
