Love my Reef flip flops. The piece that goes between the toes is fabric, so no blisters.

Noting the recommendations here for my next shoe shopping expedition.

Those are pretty! I want them. What size sneaker do you wear and what size flip flop did you get? Nosey people must know in case I can't find them around here.

I hope your feet like them. Happy feet make happy people. I wish my PF understood that.

Linda, Amazon has a gazillion more colors (love the rose gold!).

My normal shoe size is 8.5W. I take a 9.5 W in running shoes. I bought the 8s in the Olukais. In Dansko, I like a 39. I will say that in every pair of flipflops I tried, my feet do kind of spill over the sides. This seemed to be worst in the Fitflops and best in the Danskos. The Olukais are somewhere in between--but the footbed on the Olukai is soft; there's no hard edge pressing up against the bottom of my foot (which is an issue I have with a lot of shoes, even wides).

Oh, a final (but important) note--the Olukais make the iconic flip-flop sound when you walk. I thought it was kind of fun, and they're super-casual, so it's OK. I didn't notice it at all with the Danksos or Fitflops.

Now I need to check out Reefs!

Too many colors! How do you like them after wearing them awhile?

Hee! I actually did wear them all night last night, and after showering this morning. They are going to take time to get used to; after I went to bed, I had that weird muscle memory thing you get, where it felt like I was still wearing them. LOL

...But the really telling thing is that it's cold & rainy today, so I'm back in closed-toe shoes, and my little pinkie toe is SO UNHAPPY! I have had on every "comfortable" pair of shoes I own today, and it's cranky about *all* of them, even ones that don't normally hurt. (I am assuming this is from the closed-toe shoes themselves, and not from the lack of side-support from the flipflops. Or, um, hoping, anyway.)

Oh no! I hope the flip flops aren't causing problems. Time will tell I guess.

I tried a different pair of Tides yesterday and they hit the bone where the 5th metatarsal connects to the foot. I sprained that area 3 years in a row. I think all flip flops hit that area. Maybe they're tighter than others. I didn't know it was painful until I tried those Tides.

Holy cow, we've created a monster... I just bought TWO MORE PAIRS of flip-flops!

I stopped in at DSW just in case (y'all know how that goes! LOL), where, btw, they have FitFlops for $60 and under. But they also had these *adorable* sandals from White Mountain (I got the floral), which is a brand I know fits me well, and which were only $30! They were too cute not to buy, and I was actually sorry to put my own shoes on to go home--a good sign of comfort, I think! And these from Clarks, which were, hands down, the single most comfy pair of flipflops I've tried on. End of.

Flip-flops, where have you been all my life?? Seriously, I am SO not used to having this many comfortable and attractive footwear options! Usually there's one thing that sorta doesn't hurt so much. I am over the moon about this.
