[QUOTE=ChelePA;2876204 Any other memoirs or something similar that you found enjoyable? Thanks![/QUOTE]

I liked (many of these were already mentioned)

The Girl With Seven Names

Demi Moore's autobiography

When Life Gives You Pears

Know My Name

Run Don't Walk

Unbearable Lightness by Portia de Rossi - I have struggled with eating disorders all of my life and her book really captures what it's like

I'm in the minority and didn't like Educated.

ETA - how could I forget The Glass Castle? Also, The Hiding Place and A House in the Sky

Hi Erica—-I didn’t like Educated either. I tried both the book and the audible and didn’t finish it.

Thank you! Just read Demi Moore's based on this thread. Now a few more to add to my list

I just read books by Brendan O'Carroll: The Mammy, The Chisellers , The Granny, and The Young Wan (each book is about 200 pages). Wonderful stories, quick read about an Irish family and friendship.

I haven't read Educated, but something about the reviews made me think I wouldn't like it. I did read and like Hillbilly Elegy, which some have said is similar.

I was excited to get five new books at Goodwill this past week! I'm almost finished with The Help, which I have really enjoyed. I might read The Beloved next (also from Goodwill), or I might go to a review copy book I got, My Sister.

I read that many years ago. Very emotional if I remember. On the same subject is The tattooist of Auschwitz.

I really liked The Help. The movie was good too, but the book was better.

Yes; short but powerful.

Just finished! I enjoyed it very much. I haven't seen the movie but thought it looked good as well.

I met Elie Wiesel years ago when I was working for the Penal Commissioner and he came in to discuss a talk he was going to give to the prisoners. He was a very kind man.
