Sherry - I find a long list very helpful when I’m shopping for my giftee! It does give lots of options & increase the element of surprise.

Hi Santa! There are lots of things listed here ONLY to give you some ideas

A little about me: I'm a runner (who is currently building strength to recover from and prevent injury), I love yoga and meditation, I like to read, and hike and bike with DH. I’ve been using the stationary bike for cardio lots recently, and I have a treadmill too. I also have a goal of doing a Triathlon someday in the next few years. I play guitar, both acoustic and electric. Used DVDs and books are welcome, I'm a bit of a techie so streaming, e-books, and downloads are doable too. I like Jessica Smith, Nia Shanks, Eoin Finn, Yoga with Adriene, and used to do a lot of Cathe DVDs. I do a LOT of YouTube stuff now.

DVDs/Downloads:
Virtual Active (or similar) – I would love to try a cycling or a hiking video DVD or download
Christine Felstead’s Yoga for Runner’s Beginner or Intermediate DVD or download
Cathe Cycle Max DVD or Download
Jessica Smith: Walk On Metabolism Booster, Walk On Get Strong, Walk On 4 Mile Power Walk

Books: I can read physical or digital on my iPad or Laptop using iBooks or Kindle App. I am in Canada, so anything downloadable from Amazon needs to be from Amazon.ca

Let Your Mind Run: A Memoir of Thinking My Way to Victory – Deena Kastor
Triathlon for the Every Woman: You Can Be a Triathlete. Yes. You. – Meredith Atwood
Slow Fat Triathlete: Live Your Athletic Dreams in the Body You Have Now - Jayne Williams
Running with a Police Escort – Jill Grunenwald
Running Until You’re 100 – Jeff Galloway
The 100-Day Reclaim - Nia Shanks
Simple Songs The Easiest Guitar Songbook Ever– Hal Leonard Corp
More Simple Songs The Easiest Guitar Songbook Ever– Hal Leonard Corp

Other: I love dark chocolate (85%) and hot chocolate. I like tea, especially anything with peppermint. I'm also a coffee drinker (the stronger the better), love bigger mugs. I'm a fan of Star Wars, and Game of Thrones. I like to journal and LOVE fine point pens for writing, blue or black ink, but for some reason when I get one I like, it suddenly disappears. I'm a music lover too, mostly rock/hard rock. I like Essential Oils and use peppermint the most. I like to cook and recently got a Blentec blender if you have smoothie or other recipes to share for it. We are all big basketball fans, NBA (Raptors) and NCAA, and of course our local teams too!

I appreciate anything and everything. I hope this gives you some ideas!

Thank you
Beth

Dear Secret Santa, here are some suggestions of what I would run down the aisles for if I were set loose in a Videofitness grocery store.

About me: I have all the traditional workouts I need, and would love yoga and meditation themed things this year. I can't do vinyasa or power yoga, and prefer gentle yoga - especially yin, restorative and beginner level Kundalini. (FYI, I already have all of Ravi and Ana, Mark Laham's Yin Yoga and Kim Eng's Yin Yoga.) I love to walk on my local beach and go there in almost all weather. Yoga, meditation, beach walks and my Reiki practice are how I use my mental health and fitness time. I will be happy with whatever you send me.

Flexband: Super Exercise Band in level orange.

Glider Discs suitable for hardwood floors.

DVDs: - used are fine. (Hint: Yogatech (Nirvair videos) usually has a Black Friday sale.)Streaming: A month of YogaGlo - https://www.glo.com/gift

Supplies for my yoga and meditation practice:
  • Leg warmers
  • Long sleeve woman's cotton tee shirt, size large. A yoga-ish pattern on the front would be fun but don't spend a lot of $$$.
  • Aromatherapy room spray - soothing scents like chamomile, rosemary or lavender
  • Candles! (non-jarred b/c of postage $$) - votive, pillar or tea lights, scented or unscented. I love holiday seasonal scents (pumpkins, pines, apple pie, cinnamon, yeah!). I dislike mint, citrus, and the hippie scents, a/k/a patchouli, ylang ylang, pignon.
  • Palo santo incense cones
Treats (I have a gluten allergy):
  • Herbal tea in teabags - chamomile, turmeric/ginger blends, fennel, Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat, Yogi Tea Joint Comfort (no mints or citrus please)
  • Salted dark chocolate covered cashews
  • Any gluten free dark chocolate treat, really
  • Small tube of hand lotion for my desk, scented or not
Paperbacks: (I love used books)
  • The Pocket Book of Stones by Robert Simmons
  • Living the Reiki Way by Penelope Quest

Thank you for participating in the gift exchange, for reading my list, and for being my Secret Santa.

Dear Secret Santa,

Here is a brief description me and my fitness wishes. I love participating in this and appreciate anything that I receive!

I am a longtime VFer and home exerciser. I enjoy Cathe and KCM, but I also like to dabble with others with more athletic type workouts or circuit workouts. I subscribe to several streaming services, and have most DVDs that I want, but here are a few I'm very interested in.

DVDs/Streaming
*Studio Sweat on Demand (Gift Certificate or 1 Month All Access Pass) https://www.studiosweatondemand.com/...t-certificate/ - I have been wanting to check this one out for a long time.

*Cathe Step Sync DVD - I preordered IMax 4 and PHA Step, but I really think I would like this one, too.

*Fitfusion.com Gift Certificate - Looks interesting
*Virtual Active or something similar for the treadmill/spin bike

Miscellaneous
Motivational Workout Tanks - love them - size XL
Headbands - I have long hair
I love stickers for my planner - exercise and all purpose!
Socks - Size 7
I wear a FitBit Versa, and I like different, fun bands.
Teas - I like Chai, Cinnamon, Spiced varieties

Thanks again for checking out my list and being my Secret Santa!!
