Sorry Mary!

I was late for my class this morning . I did some walking and worked on a prechoreographed workout.

Today was ETV Waist & Arm Lengthening. I hadn’t done this one for a while and it was nice, more on the gentle side.

Jackie - Good thing you always go to your classes early!

I spent some time today with precho 6 which is loosely based on Sahra's Class of 2012 and S and S in Motion.

New to Essentrics

Hi! I have been lurking on the Essentrics and t Tapp threads the past few weeks. I am still unsure of which to try.. maybe both? Perhaps someone can give me some input on these programs and where to start. I don’t have a lot of weight to lose but i would like to firm up mainly my waist and maintain my flexibility. I am a SAHM so I have time to workout daily. TIA for any ideas or opinions.

Hi Theeearn! I did T-Tapp many years ago. Really didn't click with the program or really feel any benefits from it.

I prefer the flowy trademarks that are unique to Essentrics and I love that it's a techniques based program with science behind it. My back and hip love Essentrics too. This is probably the slimmest I've been since having kids...I have had 4.

Does your local PBS carry Classical Stretch? Can you check out some dvds from the library? I'd try out both programs....and see what you like.

Thank you JackieB. I downloaded the T Tapp book on iTunes. I reviewed it briefly while baby slept. Not sure how I feel about some of it... I do have pbs and classical stretch comes on at 0530. With good fortune and a sleepy baby tomorrow morning I will check it out. I did take a look at Essentrics tv. It looks like there is a lot to offer. Would you recommend it or is it best to start with the dvds perhaps?

Do you have a dvr to set? That way if the sleepy baby isn't so sleepy, you could do it later. I used to always do my workouts during nap time.

I love ETV. it's affordable at $14.95/month and you get pretty much everything, plus the new offerings that are exclusive to streaming. The dvds are expensive, so if you don't own any it's the way to go! Plus, you don't have to get up at 5:30 am...it's there for you any time. Even if you just did it for a month and then cancelled, you'd get a pretty good idea if you liked the program.

I set my dvr last night and recorded this morning’s episode. It was a full body beginner workout. I really enjoyed it. It was just what I needed after having been up quite a bit last night.

I didn't teach tonight....I did Amanda's BSS2 half hour workout and walked my dog with my daughter.

I love this. They are such nice workouts that are quite doable. I'm glad it met your needs.
