"Yoga may be good for the brain"
From today's NY Times.
Kundalistas will be pleased to see that kundalini yoga and meditation were used in the study mentioned in the article. Here's the study. The NY Times article and the study itself don't say which kundalini yoga set was used, but the meditation used in the study was Kirtan Kriya. KK was a big favorite in my teacher training class, and one that is on several kundalini yoga DVDs. One of the authors of the study is Dr. Dharma Khalsa. He's an MD and does research on Alzheimer's. He's also a long time practitioner of kundalini yoga and meditation. He has written several books. Thought some of y'all here might be interested.
