Anyone else do Cathe RWH without finishers?

I love the RWH series but the finishers really tear my joints up. I like straight weightlifting. Does anyone else do it without the finishers and also what is the purpose of the finishers?

Thanks Missy

I remember doing a scaled down version of the RWH stuff and really loving it that way but I think what I did was one set plus the finishers. I think the finishers are just supposed to "finish" you off. If they don't work for you, just skip 'em -- it's always good to find a formula that works.

I always do those workouts without the finishers, too.

Some finishers I use some I skip. I like scarecrows so I do those but I skip pushups if I'm not in the mood. I think you can really take them or leave them. They add to the workout if you want them but they don't take anything away if you don't do them.

Make the workout dvd fit your needs. Don't feel you have to follow everything that is shown.

Cathe has always done this. She used to call them bonus burns. She likes push-ups so she always gets them in one way or another.

I've done this but using a premix. She has premixes that leave off the finishers and will sub ab work instead. Love that premix.

Yes yes yes yes! I do RWH w/o the finishers using the premix options. A check in buddy of mine subs for the finishers and does things like march in place to get her step count up or do other low impact/no impact cardio moves. I have tried that and it does offer a great option to the finishers.

Do what feels best for you!
