Exclamation Gadget Flashback: Foam Pad Cover for Club Step

I bought one a million years ago and never used it much. I can't even remember where I bought it. Was Karen Voight selling them?

I couldn't find any photos of it online so I took one of mine. The DH uses it to lie on when he works under the car, LOL!

I have no idea where we got this. I still use mine every day to do ab work. Or I put it on the step when I'm lying on it for a weight bench.

I wouldn't mind having another one. Mine is kind of beat up!

I have this mini foam mat thing I got many years ago from Cathe's site for the top of my step to make it more comfortable to use as a weight bench, etc. (this was back when Cathe was selling all sorts of exercise stuff) but it curled and still curls like crazy (maybe I don't use it enough?). I wish it were stiff.

I use the Cathe one a couple of times a week whenever I lie on the bench. I put the Cathe mat on the bench and then a towel on top of that.

I can't remember where I recently saw it, but someone took a thick yoga mat and placed their step top on it. she traced the step on the mat and cut it out to make a topper.

That's a great idea! I originally cringed at the thought of cutting up my Manduka mat, but they sell inexpensive ones at TJMaxx that would work great.

I just saw something like this at Goodwill yesterday! A step with a foam topper in that shade of blue. I wondered what the heck it was, lol. I didn't get it, but I did snag a set of two pound neoprene dumbbells.

Yes, i have a really thick mat from tjmaxx. I've found it to be too thick for my wrists but would make a great topper!

I wanted one but I was too poor to spend on things other than DVDs. So I just used an old towel...
