Hi everyone! My rheumatologist was late for our appointment last night, I was his last patient and I couldn't shut him up (he's a chatterbox). Oh well - at least he pays attention to me. My planned workout didn't happen, but I accomplished some streaming workouts on my lunch break:

~ Mark Osmundsen Pilates Barre Blend
~ Kathy Smith 10 Minute Time Out - Walking

I started following Mark O. - really good class.

Hi Jackie, it's so nice to see you. That is awful about the woman's accident. It is true - you never know. How bizarre you couldn't get on to post?

I'm impressed you made it through LWR with your eyes closed Cyana. I'd do damage with a moving workout, but I'm going to try it with balancing workouts.

Pam, hurray for clear blue skies. A trail walk and getting away in nature sounds like a good tonic right now.

Sherry, nice job with the cardio. I thought of you this morning - my local morning news crew often chat a bit between segments, and they were mentioning how you can't find canned pumpkin.

I better hit the decks.

A quickie post this morning....
Yesterday’s offerings:
~7.5 km neighbourhood/trail walk with a friend
~Headstand & Yamuna’s stretch
~Deep hip stretches - dragon, sleeping dragon, & tried a kneeling variation of figure 4/pigeon with my calf on a stool. I used a padded storage cube that doubles as a seat. It’s a bit lower than a standard chair.
~steps - 15,539

Jackie - Nice to have you back! That’s awful about your friend’s accident! I’ll have to check out Mark’ YT channel.

Pat - It is nice when a doc spends more time, doesn’t happen very often!

Waves to all!

Jackie, I am glad to see you again ! I am so sorry about your friend.

Pat, I have been lucky to find canned pumpkin in stores. Oddly, I have found it in Aldi and Trader Joe's, but not larger chain stores. Weird!

Cyana, I am such a klutz, I would be afraid to try that with my eyes closed. Great job!

This morning:

Body Project Real Start plus cardio something....it was six am-I forget the name of the workout! It was a half hour.

I tacked on a Fabulous Fifties fifteen minute walk afterwards. It alternated cardio and toning (no weights). I wasn't crazy about some of the toning moves. I don't like twisting moves unless they are yoga. I'll do a different one next time.

I will try to do yoga before dinner and post later. If not, I will update tomorrow.

Eta: yoga with Bird restorative practice 20 minutes. I had to work around my cat Mila who insisted on not leaving my mat.

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! Yesterday featured:

~ Sarah Beth Deep Stretch Low Back
~ Lunch walk (1.48, 30 mins)
~ Kathy Smith Ageless Staying Strong - Arms
~ Evening walk with DH (1.32, 35 minutes)
~ Total walk stats 2.8 miles, 65 minutes, 9 floors, 11,379 steps.

I'm going to get all geek with my Fitbit stats, LOL. It's motivating. This morning I had a long-delayed dental cleaning and check-up and am completely cavity free. The dentist didn't even need to come in - I wanted to find him and yell in the door "ha ha, you can't sell me any phony dental work."

Have a lovely day ladies!

Today’s offerings, kept it low key as I felt a bit off for some reason....Covid fatigue maybe....
~Neighbourhood walk
~20 min rebounding
~Hip & leg stretches, Yamuna’s stretch, headstand
~steps: 10,008

Nice day for you Pat, but I think your missing one number in your step count? That sounds like a lot more than 1379. Yay for good dental check up!

Hi,

I forgot to post yesterday:

-Body Project 30 minute cardio (I can never remember the names)
-Body Project 23 minute cardio. I did not know this was more advanced. I do not do burpees! I modified but finished
-Heart Alchemy yoga-softening the edges practice

I did get in 13,000 steps yesterday! That will not happen today. I slept really badly. I almost skipped doing anything, but pushed myself:

-Body Project cardio-new you tube routine with music by Stevie Wonder and David Bowie-had to smile through that 17 minutes
-Yoga Upload morning practice 15 minutes

I may do a short cardio workout later to get in more steps, but I might now...tomorrow will be a rest day. I really want to do weights on Saturday and I need a rest day before that.

Pat, fantastic job on your steps!!! That is great you walk with your DH. I wish I enjoyed walking outside. Our neighborhood is really boring.

Pam, I hope you are feeling better today-hugs!

Hi to Jackie!

Sherry
