Cyric has been sick all day so I haven't done much besides clean floors and crate. I did get out for lunch with friends. Hoping he's past the worst of it. He evidently chewed his Nylabone a lot more than I realized when I was busy yesterday and swallowed some chunks. I took the toys away and hope he won't need to see the vet.

I did two Jessica workouts today, two short strength workouts on you tube. I also walked Chica.

Vannie, I'm so sorry Cyric is sick, and I hope he feels better.

My Chica isn't eating much, although she has energy on our walks. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow for an appointment.

Sherry, praying Chica is okay and starts eating better. It's so hard not knowing what's going on with them.

I think Cyric should be feeling better tmrw, thanks.

Vannie and Sherry, hope your pups start feeling better!

Not a lot new here. I'm pleased with my hamstring protocol and am working on hip internal/external rotation and think I've found some good, functional exercises to do beyond what I have which seems to be minimally effective. I continue to do Cathe's basic step but not the whole thing. I will add on as I continue to improve. I do like it. I've decided I need to adjust my attitude towards the weather. Winter is really trying to come on early and has been since mid/late October. We've gotten a little more snow and even though it's sunny today, the snow is not melting much. I'd like winter to back off a little but I just better set my attitude right and not make winter any longer than it sure could be this year.

Waves to Scarlett and MT!

I took Chica in this morning. Vet couldn't find anything physically wrong with her. I couldn't afford the blood and urine test, so came home. We are trying to get her to eat with little success. I really think something is wrong internally. But my sweet daughter offered to pay for the testing! So I'm calling the vet tomorrow to take her in for testing. Crossing my fingers it's nothing or something easily treated. If it's very serious, I guess we'll be saying goodbye soon. I'm trying to tell myself we had 13 great years together, but it's really hard. Especially, since we lost Jesse a year and a half ago. But that's how it is with our pets I guess, they don't live with us as long as we want. I like to picture them all on the Rainbow Bridge, happily playing.

Thanks, Vannie! I forgot to mention, she's lost a lot of weight. She has gone from 43 to 29 in the past year. The vet said she could be okay on this weight, but it's really worrying.

Oh my gosh! That is drastic. I can't believe the vet wasn't concerned! I wish they could talk and tell us what hurts.

Wow, Sherry, that is a lot of weight. So wonderful that your daughter can help with the tests. Sending prayers!

I went in this morning for the blood test for Chica. I wish I could remember how long it takes. They couldn't get a urine sample, even though she hadn't gone in awhile. I have the sample kit, but haven't noticed her going outside. She isn't drinking her water, or eating any of her food or treats. I can get her to lap up some chicken broth and eat some chicken, but that's it. I think it's the end, so I'm preparing myself.

I did a short Jessica strength workout this morning. I think I'll try a Pahla Bowers one this evening.
