Sherry, how are you doing? That's great that you're riding your bike in the mornings. It's good to find smthg healthy to help fill a void.

My back has improved each day but I'm going to the chiropractor today anyway.

I'm doing better. It will take time though, to heal completely. I'm still dealing with anxiety, but see a counselor in December. It gets a little better each day.

Finally went to the chiropractor this afternoon. I'm still sore and tight from being out of alignment so many days but he made several massive adjustments and I'm feeling much better and walking freely and strongly again. Hoping good night's sleep will help lessen the tightness. I also spent about 20 minutes after our last walk doing foam roller and ball massage and light stretching. He told me the only thing I need to avoid is sitting too long and I need to strengthen my posterior chain and abductors and make sure to stretch my quads and hip flexors. I think the rest of this month I will focus on PT type exercises, yoga and Pilates.

Sherry, I still miss D'Argo every day and it's been almost two years. It definitely takes time.

Vannie, glad your chiro was able to help. Frustrating how we can get "stuck" in certain ways and need someone to disrupt whatever it is so we can move forward again. I saw my massage therapist yesterday and she's doing a pretty consistent job now and is helpful. She worked on my upper traps a lot and they feel much better.

Sherry, glad you are doing a little better and hope seeing the counselor will offer some help too.

It's too muddy to do much in the way of getting a decent walk in so I've been doing some dvd's. Jill Miller's YTU upper body Quick fixes are workin' for me.

And I still have 19 horror movies on the DVR to watch!

I went to visit a friend and her daughter and new granddaughter today. It was really nice. We've texted but hadn't seen each other in at least a year.

All soreness is gone and my lower body is actually feeling better than it did before my SIJ went out. Woohoo! Now if I could get rid of this headache!

I've been getting into movie mode as well. I still haven't seen "Brooklyn" so purchased it via ebay and should get it next week.

Vannie, so glad the chiro appt was so successful for you. My massage did similar things as well. And we've finally dried up enough around here that I can get back to getting some walks in.

Keeping up with some yoga dvd's recently. Good focus for now.

Thanks, Scarlett!

Katie, I've never heard of a movie called Brooklyn. What is it? I would love a massage but I don't think I can skip chiropractor for massage.

Happy belated Birthday Vannie!

Brooklyn is a movie that was released in 2015. It takes place in the 1950's about a young women who immigrates to Brooklyn, NY from Ireland. I don't watch a lot of movies but this one grabbed my attention recently. I really like the main actress who is also Irish. Here is the movie trailer.
