workouts:

Tuesday-25 minutes of a Soul Sweat class-at least it was something!

Wednesday-
Body Combat 75-30 minutes
Yoga Upload morning stretch 10 minutes

I have to tell myself that it's okay to do a half hour of cardio. I don't HAVE to do an hour. I loved this one!

Thursday:
Soul Sweat w/Chantal Funky Soul Sweat-30 minutes. I gave up on this one due to lack of energy and not really liking this one. There was way too much "do your own thing around the room." I need choreography!

Yoga Upload-hips and thighs stretch-15 minutes

Sleep has been a little better (fingers crossed!)

I'll try to do personals later.

Sherry

Today’s workouts:
~Taught Essentrics
~3 km walk
~Barlates Cardio Interval HIIT 30 - Another short & effective offering from Barlates Linda. She can pack a lot into 16 min! There were a few wristy intervals near the end but I modified quite easily using my wall barre for plank work.
~Headstand practice
~MFML: Healthy Back 2: Hips & Low Back - This okay but not a fave, some moves felt awkward and I didn’t click with the instructor.

Pat - So sorry you had a sad day yesterday, saw that on the gift exchange thread. Sending you (((hugs))) and hope you got your workout in today. How lovely to give Reiki by the fire, that sounds so relaxing!

Sherry- Glad you’re sleeping better & hope the trend continues!

Laura - Sounds like your last minute class went really well, good for you for stepping in. Nicely done!

Waves to all!

I just got the word that my sister passed away this morning. As the tired old saying goes, it was blessing. Maybe not for us, but she's been in terrible pain for years. Now she is free of that damaged body, her pain and sadness.

Never stop moving and exercising ladies, please.

Pat, I'm so sorry. Sending love and light to you all.

This morning I did LIIFT4 Legs. It's been a while since I've done a heavy leg workout and it was hard!

Good morning,

I did an hour long Soul Sweat class. It felt good to be able to finish a whole one again! I plan to do a long yoga practice later-something stretchy and restorative or yin.

Pat-sending you more hugs.

Jackie-how is the weather there today? It is supposed to be cold and blustery here, but likely nowhere near as cold as your area.

Margot-I am so glad to see you posting

I'll be back later. I'm going to get breakfast.

Sherry

ETA:

Yoga Upload Yoga for stress relief 20 minutes. I may do something longer later.

I am having a cooking/baking day. I made two different kinds of roasted vegetables, chicken wild rice soup in the Instant Pot, and browned butter apple blondies, which are cooling now and then I will make the icing. I'm also making monster cookies (both recipes are from Sally's Baking Addiction). A good part of the baked goods are leaving the house (necessary!) A friend of ours has had a really bad week, so my DH will take them over tomorrow. Their three year old daughter has pneumonia, his father is in the hospital and his wife has been battling a virus all week. Hopefully some baked goods will cheer them up a little. I had offered to make them chicken soup, but they declined. We will eat the soup tomorrow.

~45 min of yin on my own....hip openers, forward bends, upper back acupressure

Today’s workouts:

~headstand practice
~Gaia: AM Yoga for Your Week - hip openers

Pat - Sending lots of love & (((hugs))) to you & your family.

Welcome back Margot, so good to hear from you!

Sherry - I’m drooling! How kind & thoughtful of you to send goodies to your friends.

Waves to all!
