I hope you enjoy Practical Magic! I read it years ago and recently listened to the audiobook on Scribd – what a lovely book! The movie adaptation was also surprisingly good! And has a good soundtrack as well

Thanks for all the recommendations. I had to stop what I was doing this afternoon and spend a session on Amazon looking up books.

Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane. It was the one of the best books that I’ve read this year. Other excellent reads for 2019 were Stuart O’Nan’s Henry Himself and A God In Ruins, by the fabulous Kate Atkinson. Right now I’m reading Denise Mina’s new release.

I've rediscovered memoirs.
Murakami's What I talk about when I talk about running was very good. Run, Don't Walk: The Curious and Chaotic Life of a Physical Therapist Inside Walter Reed Army Medical Center by Adele Levine Read them each in one (long) sitting. The Murakami was better written. Started Isaac Mizrahi's IM just last night and so far it looks entertaining.
