Okay, now that I've read what others wrote, I have a few more suggestions:

I'd second Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss (Suzanne Deason) for obese people (shows large sized models), and I'd also include this one as a great beginner's video (personally, I liked Patricia Walden's Yoga for Beginners, but I know it hasn't clicked with a lot of others, so I'm always hesitant to recommend it).

I like Rodney Yee's Yoga Conditioning for Athletes for flexibility, especially the great moves in the beginning with a chair (this might also be my most-used; it's hard to say, but it's definitely the one video I've consistently used from when I was just beginning with yoga until now).

My personal favorite audio is Eoin's Winter Flow, but Shiva Rea's Yoga Sanctuary CD is also very nice (and a possibility for most versatile).

For stress, I'd have to say Yoga Mind and Body--always leaves me feeling at peace--or Patricia Walden's PM Yoga.

Book--Miriam Austin's Cool Yoga Tricks is definitely my most-used, most unique yoga book.

I'll have to think more about the video I've learned the most from (I've learned so much from all of them!) and my favorite instructor (probably Tilak, but maybe pre-sellout Rodney?), but my all-time favorite video has got to be Yoga: Altar of the Heart.

I'd probably come up with completely different choices tomorrow -- but here's this particular point in time list.

It scares me that I've seen or own just about everything mentioned so far.

Beginner Video: Erich Schiffmann Backyard Series: Beginners
Most Versatile: Shiva Rea Yoga Shakti
Flexibility: Erich Schiffmann Backyard Series: Lotus.
Power (faster): Shiva Rea Yoga Shakti
Vinyasa (slower): Erich Schiffmann Yoga Mind & Body; Rodney Yee Yoga for Strength : Ana Forrest 5 Day Intensive (CD set).
Ashtanga: Richard Freeman Primary Series
Iyengar/Restorative (I would change this category -- Iyengar involves lots of active strength)
Iyengar: Mary Pappas Yoga Complete John Schmacher (his CDs)
Restorative: Patricia Walden and Rodney Yee Yoga for Relaxation and Amanda McMaine (her CDs).
Kundalini: Don't do it.
Wake Up: Don't do anything unusual -- always wake up with yoga.
Before Sleep: Sarah Powers Insight Yoga (Yin)
For Stress: John Schumacher Pranayama (CD)
For That Time Of the Month: Not a concern anymore.
Meditation: I don't like meditation media but do like warming up with pranayama, particularly Richard Freeman's Yoga Breathing (CD).
Yoga Inspired Dance: Don't do it.
Strength Builder: Mary Pappas Yoga Complete.
One that you learned a lot from: So many of them.
Best for someone obese: Depends on the person, age and physical condition.
Best for someone looking for a straight up workout: Jill Miller
Best short practice: Karen Voight yoga stretch from Yoga Focus.
Audio : see above audio choices and add Shiva Rea Yoga Sanctuary and Felicity Green tapes.
Book: There are many, but you really can't beat B.K.S. Iyengar Light on Yoga.

Favorite Instructor: Hard choice -- I guess I use Erich Schiffmann DVDs most frequently.
Favorite Scenery: I don't care about scenary really -- Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti has nice settings though.
Best Music: Erich Schiffmann Freedom Style
Best Savasana: I don't like anyone's savasana -- I do my own.

Wouldn’t recommend this tape to anybody: There's a person out there for every video.
Your number one most used tape: Rodney Yee Yoga for Strength
Your number one favorite:

I figured that, given how many yoga videos I own (I justify them as being "educational" and thus worth owning more of than other fitness DVDs), I should vote here.

Beginner Video: Yoga Zone's yoga for beginners
Most Versatile: Yoga Shakti
Flexibility: any Yin yoga, Erich Schiffman's Lotus
Power (faster): MTV Power yoga
Vinyassa (slower): Cyndi Lee's Om Yoga in a box
Ashtanga: David Swenson's Short Forms
Iyengar/Restorative: John Schumacher's CD's
Wake Up: if only I could get myself moving in the morning...
For Stress: Candlelight Yoga
For That Time Of the Month: same as for flexibility--any Yin yoga, Erich Schiffman's Lotus
Strength Builder: Ana Forrest's Strenght and Spirit
One that you learned a lot from: Tias Little
Best short practice: David Swenson's Short Forms
Audio: Cyndi Lee's Om Yoga in a box
Book: Cool Yoga Tricks

Favorite Instructor: Cyndi Lee
Favorite Scenery: Yoga Shakti
Best Music: Tilak Pyle's Altar of the Heart, Erin Fleming's Yin CD
Best Savasana: any without talking

Wouldn’t recommend this tape to anybody: I've never clicked with anything from Gaiam
Your number one most used tape: Candlelight Yoga
Your number one favorite: right now it's Flow&Yin by Donna Helm-Yost, but it keeps changing

I broke Iyengar and Restorative into two by request. I had them as one because whenever I see the classes around here that is how Iyengar is listed, I always thought that since he uses the bolsters and other furniture it was restorative based (I haven't taken a class obviously) so that is why I put them together. I will put most people's responces into the restorative category unless they are obviously Iyengar.
