I'm also so glad to hear that you're better!

Congratulations on your first workout Acey! If you enjoy Leslie how about one of her resistance wos alternated with her walks for a week or two? My only advice would be to do less than you think you should. Err on the side of caution.

Great to hear you are well enough to begin working out again!

I would suggest Jessica Smith's Feel Good Fusion dvd and Ellen Barrett streaming. Her online only workouts are gentle but effective.

Good luck!!

I’m glad you’re doing better! I tried to provide a variety of enjoyable beginner workouts for you. Most have different sections so you can just do one section at a time and eventually build up to the whole workout.

Ellen Barrett’s Zen Sculpt. She has lots of workouts for you to explore on YouTube.

Tracy Anderson’s Mat Workout. It’s more challenging than Ellen’s.

Claudia Schiffer’s upperbody. This link has abs and arms. The arm workout starts at about the 30 minute mark. She does all the basic arm moves using 3lb weights. I used this when I was in recovery from an illness. I just skipped the pushups at first. Kathy Kaehler designed the workout.

Crunch Master Class with Nancy Popp.

Yin Yoga with Travis Eliot. He also has a shorter 30 minute yin yoga class on YouTube.

Thanks everyone!

Karla25 wow thanks for the recs!

I did my second workout yesterday - Denise Austin Daily Dozen (kickbox, upper body, lower body). Back is still a little twingy and I felt it when doing ab work. Lannette, your comment ran like a mantra through my head ... "do less than you think you should..." And I did!

Ellen Barrett, Essentrics, easy dance workouts...in a weird way it's a relief to not be worrying about plateaus and getting to the next advanced level...back to basics, and building up.
