For curiosity's sake, I looked at the body bars they have at our Academy. They're by CAP and just seem really bulky, with big plastic caps on each end. Gathering dust in the store, by the look of it.

I'm tempted to get a real Body Bar one too, someday.

Just on a whim, I visited Youtube and typed Body Bar in the search engine. There are a decent number of BB workouts there!

Hmm... I have a 10# body bar (CAP) and suddenly I feel the need to get a heavier one, even though I've rarely even used the 10# one! LOL

I love the body bars too but they have always been a bit of a niche market, IMO. I use them instead of dumbbells sometimes and for sure instead of a barbell, even though I have one. I just find them more comfortable and versatile.

Years ago I had a YogFlex rebounder (cheapo from drugstore.com) that came with a screw-on support pole you could hang on to for support. Never used it like that, but since it isn't flimsy, I've used it a time or two as though it were a body bar.
