Thank you for your reply.
Have you tried any of these from youtube? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq5...arch?query=run

I haven't, so I clicked on the link. I checked out Clifton Gorge Trail Run. It was fun just watching it -- I'm glad he was careful going down those steps .
Thanks!

I was wondering if the movement would make you feel off kilter (drunk, LOL). I don't get like that with regular workout DVD's.

I just tried it 'for real,' and didn't have any problem. I do my workouts on my desktop computer and use the full screen option for YouTube. So I'm always using my peripheral vision to stabilize. I find the panting and footstep sounds a little unnerving, so I tried turning the sound off, but I didn't like that. I checked a Virtual Active run, and they use background music.

....winter, spring, summer or fall...all you got to do is call...sorry, I digress.

I much prefer indoor treadmill walking to outdoors in all my seasons. I know it's not the same. I know there are benefits to being outside. (I get that doing other things.) I usually use my own playlist, a cardio coach, Candace Grasso v1 & 2, and an Amy Dixon audio workout. I am a walker, not a runner. It really helps keep my weight in check.

The Dance Faith Fitness youtube channel has a few new walks including a 20 minute, 30 minute, 40 minute and 45 minute with decent music.

I think I would like music, too. Thank you for your thoughts.

Aurora C. - I'm definitely in the same boat as you. The treadmill can get pretty monotonous for walking, so I got a few Jessica DVDs and have started dabbling with some easy dance cardio (Zumba, Tracey A, some BeachBody programs). Anything to get me moving, we'll see.

Today I did this run from youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5DIIr4UlR4 It had music at first and then it was gone. I stopped and found a country running mix from youtube and played that in the background. That actually worked out pretty good. I ran/jogged in place for 4 minutes and then did low impact moves (kickbacks/side to side, etc) for 1 minute.
