It SO agrees with my body like nothing else!! It gives me energy, and makes me feel good!! Just remember Lapis, that you inspired at least one person, me!! And I am not going to give up those 5 mile walks. I might sneak a 4-miler in once in awhile, but I am going to keep up those 5 miles if it kills me!!

I would say Leslie is just as effective as outdoor walking. I usually add upper body movements and weights too. The problem for me is that I don't usually do Leslie as long as I can walk outdoors (45 to 60 minutes). After 30 to 40 minutes, I get antsy with Leslie. I do love her walks though especially in the bad weather

I think so, though in a different way. Outdoor walking usually tires my calves and shins more so it definitely uses muscles in a different way. But both burn calories consistently and work to slim the legs and hips.
For me Leslie has the definite advantage during these hot & humid summer months.

I just bought a pair of trekking poles. (I had a pair a few years ago; I think I lent them out to someone; and they are gone.) Anyhow ... I used them this weekend on my walk, and gosh, I am so impressed with how I felt afterwards.
I walked further. Also, it raised my heart rate a bit higher, so I felt the walking was at a more aerobic pace. But more importantly, my body did not hurt when I got home. My knees felt they had been cushioned the whole time. My back was not sore or tired. And this was just a flat walking trail at a park. I can't wait for this weekend to get out for another long walk with them.
