Thanks for the additional info, Anna! Sounds interesting to me as a psychologist as well.

Thanks to your suggestions, I just finished the Nightingale. Liked this one, too! My next read will be the German Girl by Correa, since I just picked it up at the library.

Lilac Girls will be after that!

I just finished Orphan Train (Christina Baker Kline). I really enjoyed that.
Before that was The Graveyard Book (Gaiman) which I loved.

I loved The Nightingale and Orphan Train. The German Girl and Lilac Girls are both on my to read list.

I've gotten into the Agatha Raisin mystery series by M. C. Beaton. They are light British mysteries with lots of quirky characters. I've been getting them as audio ebooks from my library and listen while I rebound, stretch, or putter around the house.

Pam - thanks for mentioning those - I'm heading off to the library tonight so I will see if I can find them. I listen to audio books when I commute. I try to stick w/ lighter books and/or books I have read already so as not to get too distracted while driving! These sound good for that. I finished listening to Hunger Games most recently - not a light book - but one I read before so it was a good driving book.

I loved Nightingale, Lilac Girls, All the Light we Cannot See. I have to read Orphan Train. I also want to read Kirstin Hannah's newest - the Great Alone (?) but the wait list for it is long!

Picked up the new Charles Finch mystery The Woman in the Water from the library.

It's a prequel to the rest of the series. I've read them all, but only purchased the first one, years ago. Got it for my dad and by the time I got around to reading it for myself, the series had grown quite a lot and they were all at the library.

I was on YA book craze recently and finished, these all of which were good:

Strange the Dreamer - Laini Taylor - sequel due out in the fall! Highly recommended for those who like YA or Adult fantasy.

How to Save a life - Sara Zarr

Turtles All the Way Down - John Green

I am now in the mood for some adult fiction...just not sure what yet.
