Chair cardio for those with lower body injuries?

I'm dealing with yet another foot injury of unknown origin, so I'm looking for some ways to get some cardio in. I usually ride my stationary bike in these situations, but that seems to aggravate the foot issue I'm having (posterior tibial tendon dysfunction) so I'm looking for alternatives. Are there any DVDs that focus just on cardio exercises that can be done sitting down? I did a google search but didn't find anything that looked legit.

I pretty much can tweak almost any kind of standing cardio, especially walking and boxing to sitting on a chair or stability ball. Just give it a try.

or do a search on youtube

or
my playlist includes many chair and ball routines which will lead you to others

When I had a lower back injury I did Safe and Strong at 50 with Cindy Kereluk. It has a very easy cardio section (more like a long warm up) followed by toning with weights and bands, all done in a chair. It may not be as much cardio as you're looking for though. Another chair workout that I did was with Susan Tuttle; again, it was light cardio followed by toning with a band. Another thing I've done with foot/ankle injuries is to bounce on the stability ball with Leslie Sansone type walking workouts. I move my legs up and down to the moves, but there's a lot less impact on the feet with the ball. Finally, I don't know how much weight if any you can tolerate on your feet, but I've found that with some lower body injuries Charlene Prickett's low impact workouts are fine. There's a lot of large arm and leg movements in her workouts, and it seems like your feet aren't hitting the ground as hard or as often as in other workouts.

Thanks everyone! Last night I decided to dig out my old P90X DVDs and realized that since that rotation is mostly isolation exercises, I can do the workouts that focus on the upper body and abs and I can even do modified versions of the cardio workouts while sitting--(bfit, thanks for the tip on using a stability ball for that!). I can put weight on my foot, but I can't bend the ankle so no squats or deadlifts or any jumping or bouncing moves. So I can do the P90X Kenpo workout, for example, as long as I sit on the stability ball or stand in one spot and just do the arm movements. It's interesting how just about any workout can be modified.
