Love the umbrella stand - how about a horizontal wall rack?

Marie,
I absolutely adore the umbrella stand. You could hang resistance bands & tubing from the coat rack part!

I have always thought that hooks on your wall that hold them in a horizontal position would be WAY cool. They have c-cup hooks that are pretty big at the hardware store (a bit smaller and more tasteful then the big ones used to hold your bike on a wall). You could like them up and it would look like art. Maybe not over the fireplace (too high up - wouldn't want to need a step ladder to get them off).

Let us know what you find!

I use the vinyl coated hardware hooks that were designed to hold yard tools (like rakes/shovels). It takes 2 seconds to get the bar in and out, and they store vertically so take up little space. On the down side, they leave an indentation in the foam covering, but it certainly doesn't affect function.
