YouTube: 30-Minute Feel Good Yoga | Stretch & Relax (YOGA UPLOAD with Maris Aylward)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrqs...thMarisAylward

The YouTube yoga practice I did this morning felt wonderful. I had done it once before. I think I found out about that practice from Sherry (thank you Sherry!)

Beth, I don't have the Sarah Powers DVD so I don't know if she tells the tsunami story in it. I just saw it on Amazon and wondered about it.

Cyana, I'm so sorry about the death of your family member.

Sandra, that was sweet of your friend to gift you Cathe's mobility DVD.

Pam, thank you for caring!

Paine I will add that video to my watch list! You might like Sarah Powers. I'm sure you can find my review somewhere!

I had a small reprieve from work this a.m. since I had to go to the dentist - not that the dentist is very much fun! Starting work at 1 pm today, but did manage to film a new yoga video after the dentist. It's a 25-minute routine for softening around perfrectionism:

{{{Paine}}} please accept my condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. It seems doubly tragic to see an elderly person have their last days snatched from them by this virus.

Paine - I'm joining the others in assuring you that having the COVID blues is entirely natural. I just left my chiropractor who I hadn't seen since January. We were talking about how stress and grief are akin to having "the weight of the world on your shoulders" and it really does cause physical pain.

It's unrelenting!

Good morning mat mavens, another Moan-day starts another week....I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

Beth - It is a bad sign when going to the dentist is a reprieve! I hope your appt goes well & this week is a better one for you.

Pat - I agree that mental health is a big issue during this whole Covid mess, especially with no end in sight and the holidays approaching.

Paine - That yoga practice sounds lovely!

Back later to post my workouts, it’s dreary and drizzly here, hoping to get in a short walk before the wind picks up as we are expecting a big blow.

Sending (((hugs))) and healing thoughts out to all....

Pat, it was Cyana who lost a family member to covid. Thankfully, I haven't lost a family member to covid but I still worry about it.

Beth, I did read your review. It was informative telling about the practice but you didn't say if you enjoyed it or not. Now that I'm thinking about it, if you loved it, you probably would have said so, lol.
I will check out your new yoga practice

cyanaso sorry to hear about your loss. Thinking of you.

Paine that yoga video sounds like something I would like. I am bookmarking it now. I am sorry to hear about the COVID blues as well.

Pat that was a good gym visit! We have a small gym here in our apartment block. I don’t use it much as the times I want to use it are generally the same time as when it is super busy and I do t really like working out near other people (if that makes sense). One of my sons who lives at home does use it regularly, however.

Beth I hope your migraine improved.

I’m planning on either weights or a body weight workout tonight after work. Though I am also tempted by the yoga practice that Paine shared.

Paine, LOL - I think sometimes I try to be a bit more editorial in my reviews. I do remember doing the (yin) practices multiple times; I think I got rid of the DVD in part because I never used the yang sections.

Pam, agreed about the dentist, but I was just happy to sleep in a bit.

Pat, so true about the pandemic; it's like this global grief experience.

Anny, thank you; this week looks like it's getting off to a better start.

Today I got in some KCM for cardio, a bit of CS, and some nice lower body yoga, too.
