I won't get my treadmill till next weekend but I did preview this last night.
This is my first look at a Runerval, and in classic Troy fashion, it's got a good level of insanity
.The title pretty much explains it....Up, Up, & Up, the Hill Climber. You warm up and then each set has 5-4? one to two minute intervals (depending on set) where you slowly, with each one, increase the grade. You're also progressing up over your base pace with the sets as well. The last set has you doing 3X5mph above base pace at 15% incline..or as high as your treadmill goes
.
Production values aren't bad. It's a little bright at the beginning and there are spots where it's not crisp and smooth filming but I've seen worse on other workouts sold as "not cutting room floor" stuff. It's filmed in the Tri-speed shop with 4 runners...nothing fancy. One woman has awesome form...or appeared to me to have it...and one of the men had a 2:17..if I remember correctly, PR for a marathon
It was so insane to watch I'm wondering why I can't wait to try it!
LOL
