How cool! Amy thanks so much!

What other heavy bag workouts do you use?

The only other one I know of is Taebo Impact - awesome workout!

The Powerstike bag workout is an awesome workout! I like it even more than Tae Bo's impact workout.

Weren't there three workouts before the Millenium workouts? Julier brought these workouts to VFs attention. As well they had the Kicks and Impact workouts. Then the Milleniums, then PS 1, 2 & 3. I have always coveted the Kicks Only workout but never managed to check it out even for a temporary trade...

Hi Hedy! Yes, there were three workouts before the Mill. series. I have all of these workouts stored. If I have time today, I'll take them out of storage and see what the exact titles are.

I'm anxious to read the list also - I have something called shadow kickboxing #4, so where does that one fit in?!

Powerstrikes Shadow Kickboxing

There are 4 volumes. They come in plain, blank video covers. The label for volume 1 says "Powerstrike V10199". 2 through 4 are labeled "Powerstrike Choreography(Shadow kickboxing) Volume 2...etc. So everyone is talking about the same workouts. Now, for those looking for these workouts, there is no production to these workouts. You're basically watching home movies. They start with Ilaria and Patricia putting music into the sound system at a live class and when it's done, it just fades out. But, the workouts are good, so I can look past the production quality.

I have 4 of the original Powerstrikes

They are called Powerstrike Volume 1, Powerstrike Choreography (Shadow Boxing) Volume, 2; Volume 3, and Volume 4. They all came in plain covers. I met Illaria at a Fitness Convention and mentioned that I loved the original workouts. She was very unhappy with the production quality of them. When I told her I had them all, she said she wished she could take them from me and smash them I also have the Impact workout - I feel like a wet rag when I do that workout. A fellow VFer loaned me the Kicks Only one - I don't remember much about it so it didn't make a big impression on me- but I LOVE the workouts I do have.

IIRC Julie lent me shadowboxing #2 and the camera work was so bad I was nauseous. It was shot with a handheld and half the time they were taping Patricia and Ilaria sideways. Very weird.

Hi Hedy

Everyone is right - there were four originals (which I still think are the best no matter what Ilaria thinks ). It was all about the live class energy. #2 was the only one that should be smashed. I also believe that the first Powerstrike Level Series 1 is my favorite of the "produced" videos. Had the privilege of taking Ilaria's class in New York a few weeks ago. I'd pay for her to just tape the darn thing and put it out there - it's that good. Much more intense than the Millenium Series. I recall her ordering 300 front pushes and actually liking it. Enthusiasm for Powerstrike has not died in New York City. She didn't mention the possibility of new videos - that's exciting!
