Good evening ladies. I've been away for a while now and thought I'd stop in and see how everyone is doing. Life has been beyond belief this year.
My husband had his right knee fully replaced Feb 25th. His left knee May 6th. 10 weeks apart!! It's been challenging, yet so good for him. During that time my mom's Alzheimer's took another major change and we started looking for help about 9 weeks ago. We found a safe and reputable memory care home for her 2 weeks ago and moved her in this past Thurs. I am an emotional train wreck to say the least.
The same day we moved my mom I also had my annual check up.
I was surprised my blood pressure was quite good considering ... 118/70. All my blood work is excellent. The only part of my body that took a big hit was my weight.
I've gained 20 of the 35 back that I lost within the last 2 yrs. My workouts don't even exist at this point. But I plan to start back soon.
With moving mom, it actually frees up 2 full rooms and my wonderful husband is helping me turn one of them into a dedicated workout space for just me!!
I'm very excited to get moving again. My Rebounder calls to me and I have yet to try the 3x3 Fit system.
How is everyone else doing? I miss being here. Hopefully I can start coming back on a regular basis now that I have help with mom and my husband is more independent again.
