Sherry, I don't think honey would negate health benefits of green tea but I'm sure it's best to drink it unsweetened if you are able to. I don't like the taste of plain green tea but I have found a few flavored green teas that I like and I try to drink 1 cup of green tea a day for health benefits.

Demeris, Bigelow makes a Constant Comment GREEN tea too.

dianestjohn, I agree that P.G. Tips is really good black tea!

Ha ha! But that would be with Bergamot tea or if that is not available Earl Grey...

Totally agree with this and love the poetic way you expressed your thoughts on this subject.

Candy cane green tea sounds yummy. Sadly there's no Trader Joe's anywhere close to me.

I agree with trying flavored green tea. I like lemon flavored green tea- the Bigelow, Tetley or Twinings. I don't care for Lemon grass though. Bigelow also makes peach flavored green tea.
I also use plain green tea and add a ginger tea bag. I buy a brand called Gold Killi from Singapore that is just dried ginger without sugar (they have lots of varieties with tons of sugar) When I couldn't find those tea bags I purchased loose ginger tea from Upton Tea Imports. It is just desicated ginger with no sugar or fillers.

Do you have Aldi near you? They have a very similar one. It is a seasonal item.
